Ease of Use:  

Even though the look and feel of the control panel appears to be designed more for kids or novice users, it is fairly easy to use. Adjusting the viewing screen and right-clicking your mouse to edit your projects, however, was awkward.

Feature Set:  

Along with PrintMaster Platinum, our #2 product, Print Workshop also provides some of the largest varieties of templates to choose from. Some additional features that may not be included in other print software programs include bulletin board cut-outs, wrapping paper and 3D crafts.

Graphic/Image Tools:  

Working with clipart and photos with Print Workshop can be fun and creative. Not only can you crop and resize images, you can crop an image based on shapes. You can also fix red-eye and scratches on photos. Print Workshop also has a photo lab where you re-size an image, rotate the image, change the file name or move it to a new location.

Text Tools:  

The text tools in Print Workshop are somewhat limited. The text tool features you do have are the ability to add pre-written text, change the font, size and color of the text, as well as add a limited number of shapes. You can also rotate your text box to any angle you wish.

Help/Support:  

Help and support is another area where Print Workshop could use some improvements. When you

're in the main start-up screen, you can access their help files or connect to the company website. But if you're working on a print project, you can't connect to the website to find technical support.

For the price, Print Workshop may have the tools and templates just right for you. Where we feel Print Workshop needs improvement is in its overall design and the tools necessary to help you create cool and fun-looking text.
